The AM Group is re-purposing St. Matthew’s Church, on the Historic Southside of Pittsburgh, into six new loft style condominiums. At the turn of the 20th century, St. Matthew’s Church was once home to a largely Slovak immigrant population, but has sat vacant for much the latter century. The Matthew’s Lofts development will breathe life back into this beautiful building, while maintaining the building’s anchoring presence in the neighborhood. The development will include six off street parking spaces, located in the basement, as well as additional basement storage for the condo Unit owners. Desmone Architects will be designing the unique loft style living spaces, which will feature multi-story spaces within the units, dramatic ceiling heights, and private outdoor spaces.

In partnership with Woolly Mammoth and JMC Holdings, The AM Group acquired 1501 Penn Ave. – “The Wholey Building”. The Wholey Building resides in the Strip District neighborhood, which is one of the most sought after sub-districts in Pittsburgh, and home to a mix of eclectic local food shops, new residences, and new offices housing corporate tech companies. The development team looks to deliver an office tower that utilizes the site’s unique zoning, and meets the demand of office space in the neighborhood. The development is currently in the planning and design phase.

Millennial Partners and Sturgeon Bay Partners assembled a multi-family investment offering of three properties, in the Midtown neighborhood of Detroit. The Midtown neighborhood of Detroit is quickly becoming one of the most vibrant areas of Detroit, due to its thriving arts, education, and restaurant scene. The investment strategy is to add value to the properties, by improving the property management, and renovating the portfolio of properties, which will in turn enable market rate rents. The AM Group assisted in raising a portion of the capital required for the equity portion of the deal.
